Our client is an organization in the Milwaukee area looking for an Accountant. Our client is looking for someone with 2+ years of accounting experience, strong analytical skills and detail oriented

 

The salary for range for this position is $70k-90k.

 

The Accountant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare and maintain financial records, reports, and general ledger entries.
  • Reconcile bank statements and company accounts
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planing
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and accounting standards
  • Conduct financial audits and support external audits
  • Monitor financial transactions and resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain payroll records and assist with payroll processing
  • Analyze financial information to identify trends and opportunities for improvement

 

The Accountant will possess the following:

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or closely related field preferred
  • 2+ years of accounting experience
  • High detail of attention to detial
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
