Our client is an organization in the St. Paul area looking for a Senior Financial Analyst. Our client is looking for someone with 5+ years of experience, strong analytical skills and high attention to details. .

 

The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct in-depth assessments of financial data and business activity, delivering practical recommendations that influence policies, internal controls, and decision-making.
  • Provide clear interpretation of corporate financial guidelines, government regulations, accounting standards, and customer-specific requirements to ensure compliant, informed operations.
  • Examine historical and current results to identify future financial trends. Recommend enhancements that strengthen profitability, operational efficiency, and financial health.
  • Review complex budgets, profitability models, performance reports, financial statements, and operational records to validate accuracy and guide improvement opportunities.
  • Guide the creation of analysis and reporting across budgeting, long-range planning, cash flow modeling, regulatory reporting, statistical tracking, and recurring forecasts.
  • Develop and maintain key data repositories used for forecasting, scenario modeling, and long-term financial planning.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

 

The Senior Financial Analyst will possess the following:

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or closely related field.
  • 5+ years of experience.
  • CPA preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
