You’ll work directly with the HR Director, supporting a wide variety of HR functions including recruiting, onboarding, employee records, benefits administration, and employee engagement. We’re looking to have someone start on or around July 8, so apply today for immediate consideration.
- 100% in-office in Oak Creek
- Pays: $25-30/hour
- Standard business hours Monday through Friday with occasional overtime.
- Support recruiting efforts by posting jobs, coordinating interviews, and communicating with applicants throughout the hiring process.
- Prepare and process new hire, onboarding, offboarding, and employee change documentation.
- Maintain accurate employee files and HR records while ensuring confidentiality and data integrity.
- Assist with employee status changes including promotions, transfers, terminations, and other personnel actions.
- Serve as a resource for employee questions related to HR policies, benefits, payroll, attendance, and time-off programs.
- Provide administrative support for benefits administration, including enrollment verification and invoice audits.
- Assist with employee engagement activities, training coordination, recognition programs, and company events.
- Help ensure HR practices remain compliant with company policies and applicable employment laws.
- Collaborate with leaders and employees across multiple departments to support daily HR operations.
- Contribute to special projects and other HR initiatives as needed.
- Associate or Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- One to two years of experience supporting Human Resources or an administrative function.
- Understanding of recruiting and onboarding best practices.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of discretion when handling confidential information.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR systems; experience with HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems is beneficial.
- Positive attitude, flexibility, and willingness to jump in wherever needed.
- Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- SHRM or HRCI certification.
- Previous HR experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Experience supporting employees across multiple shifts or locations.
- Familiarity with food manufacturing or other regulated industries.
