Our client is an organization in the Milwaukee area looking for a Property Accountant. Our client is looking for someone with 1+ years of accounting experience, who is detailed oriented, real estate experience is a plus! The salary range for this position is $65k-80k + bonus.

 

The Property Accountant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare monthly close and prepare financial statements.
  • Reconciliation of bank statements.
  • Daily interaction with asset manager, banks and tenants.
  • Review invoices for AR ledger and collections.
  • Review invoices for AP check runs.
  • Prepare and review annual property budget.
  • Assistance with property on-boarding.
  • Review operating results to budget and provide variance analysis.
  • Participate in staff meetings and special projects as needed.

 

 

The Property Accountant will possess the following:

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or closely related field
  • 1+ years of accounting experience.
  • Real Estate experience preferred.
  • Experience with NetSuite, Yardi or Kardin preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
