Our client is an organization in the Rock County area that’s looking for a Data Analyst. Our client is looking for someone with 2+ years of experience, detail-oriented, and organized. The salary for this position is $65K – $75K.

 

The Data Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyze historical freight data, shipment trends, market conditions, and pricing information to identify key insights and opportunities.
  • Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and quarterly business reviews using tools such as Power BI and Excel.
  • Support the Sales team with pricing recommendations, forecasting, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Evaluate fuel costs, freight rates, and market trends to help guide pricing strategy and business planning.
  • Translate data into actionable insights and recommendations that clearly communicate the story behind the numbers.
  • Maintain pricing information within the GSM government system and support related data entry, reporting, and analysis as needed.
  • Support ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as assigned by management.

 

The Data Analyst will possess the following:

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Associated Degree in Business, Economics, IS Systems, Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • 2+ years of related experience
  • Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Lookups; Macros preferred)
  • Experience with Power BI required
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
