Our client, a global publicly traded company, is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their collaborative team. This exciting role is open to a recent internal promotion. This position plays a key part in supporting financial reporting, close processes, and the continuous improvement of procedures across the organization!

Responsibilities:

 

  • Prepare and post general ledger activity, including complex journal entries, accruals, adjusting entries, and account variance analysis
  • Execute monthly and annual close activities, performing bank and account reconciliations to clear items efficiently.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams and international stakeholders to gather global financial information and resolve accounting discrepancies
  • Streamline financial operations, driving process improvement across accounting initiatives.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
  • CPA designation preferred
  • 2+ years of relevant accounting experience: ideally within a mid-to-large company environment.
  • Strong GAAP knowledge and analytical skills with a collaborative style.
