Staff Accountant
Our client, a global publicly traded company, is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their collaborative team. This exciting role is open to a recent internal promotion. This position plays a key part in supporting financial reporting, close processes, and the continuous improvement of procedures across the organization!

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and post general ledger activity, including complex journal entries, accruals, adjusting entries, and account variance analysis
- Execute monthly and annual close activities, performing bank and account reconciliations to clear items efficiently.
- Partner with cross-functional teams and international stakeholders to gather global financial information and resolve accounting discrepancies
- Streamline financial operations, driving process improvement across accounting initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
- CPA designation preferred
- 2+ years of relevant accounting experience: ideally within a mid-to-large company environment.
- Strong GAAP knowledge and analytical skills with a collaborative style.
