Senior Revenue Accountant
Our client is an organization in the Washington County area that’s looking for a Senior Revenue Accountant. Our client is looking for someone with 4+ years of experience, organized, and analytical. The salary for this position is $77K – $102K.
The Senior Revenue Accountant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with annual audit requests by preparing and providing supporting documentation
- Contribute to accounting policy development, internal controls, system enhancements, and process improvement initiatives
- Partner with sales, project managers, plant finance, and other business teams to support revenue forecasting, variance analysis, and accounting processes
- Manage revenue recognition models, deferred revenue schedules, and accrued revenue schedules to ensure accurate revenue reporting
- Analyze customer contracts and project activity to determine appropriate revenue recognition treatment under ASC 606
- Prepare monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, and other accounting tasks in a timely and accurate manner
The Senior Revenue Accountant will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CPA eligibility preferred
- 4+ years of related accounting experience
- Proficiency in accounting software, with Microsoft Dynamics experience a plus; advanced Excel skills including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis
- Highly detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
