Unique opportunity to join a fast-growing venture capital backed technology start-up in downtown Chicago. Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant who is excited to help build, develop and lead their accounting department through significant growth!

 

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Assist with monthly bank reporting and reporting requirements to VC investor
  • Develop and prepare KPI’s and metrics for leadership
  • Develop accurate financial reporting and analysis
  • Assist in budgets, forecasting and projections
  • Lead month end close and financial reporting
  • Drive process improvements and implement SOP’s

 

 

Qualifications

 

  • 2-4 years of public accounting experience, ideally with a mid-tier public accounting firm
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
  • Knowledge of ASC 606+
