Our client is a professional service organization in the Madison market is looking for a Tax Manager. This client is looking for someone with 5+ years of experience, leadership type qualities, and strong communication skills. This position is hybrid!
The Tax Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
- Prepare and review business and individual tax returns.
- Oversee staff who prepare tax returns.
- Research tax issues.
- Tax planning and projects as requested.
- Provide recommendations for process improvement.
- Communicate with clients as needed.
- Maintain understanding of changes in tax law.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
The Tax Manager will possess the following:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 5+ years of tax experience.
- CPA required.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
