Payroll Manager
Our client is an organization in the Hennepin County area that is looking for a Payroll Manager. This client is looking for someone with 7+ years of experience, detail oriented, and highly organized. The salary for this position is $92k – $115k.
The Payroll Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee operations of the payroll team and develop staff to meet company objectives.
- Prepare payroll reports summarizing earnings, taxes, deductions, leaves, disability, and non-taxable wages.
- Ensure proper tax setup, withholdings, and file Federal, State, and Local tax reports.
- Work closely with accounting, HR, and IT to ensure timely and accurate payrolls.
- Manage the Year-end process, ensuring W-2 records are accurate and complete.
- Manage system configuration, including setup of pay codes, AAI instructions, and tax relationships.
The Payroll Manager will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field. Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) required.
- 7+ years of corporate payroll production and processing experience.
- Advanced knowledge of Oracle HCM Cloud/JD Edwards Enterprise One or similar ERP system.
- Strong attention to detail, high degree of accuracy.
- Experience working for a construction company and union environment preferred.
- Ability to work independently under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain confidential information.
