Our client, located in Madison WI (role is hybrid in office 3 days per week) is looking to add a Contract Payroll Specialist through March 2027. This person, working on a team of 9, will help process the company payroll and will complete tasks including but not limited to:

– Assist in accurate and timely processing of payroll
– Process new hire integrations/ job changes
– Review files for accuracy and notify team of any payroll errors
– Update payroll records by reviewing employee changes, such as tax withholdings, HSA accounts/ changes, direct deposit, 401K changes, LOA changes as related to payroll, support garnishments.
– Review terminations and process final pay/ PTO payouts.
– Assist in the resolution of payroll discrepancies. 
 – Other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:
– 2+ years of payroll experience
– Knowledge of U.S. Payroll laws and regulations.
– Organizational and time-management skills.
