Technical Accounting Manager (39428)

Our industry leading and highly acquisitive client is looking to add a Technical Accounting Manager to their team! This person will partner closely with leadership, research complex accounting transactions to inform decision making, and support onboarding of new acquisitions. Salary range: $115,000 – $140,000 (commensurate with experience)

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate treatment of accounting transactions and research complex accounting matters
• Own purchase accounting for new acquisitions, divestitures, and other M&A activities
• Collaborate with various accounting teams and departments throughout the organization to ensure accounting policies are upheld
• Lead the adoption of new accounting standards and train stakeholders accordingly
• Partner with external auditors on various projects throughout the year
• Drive process improvement and optimization within the accounting team

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of accounting experience within public accounting or a multinational company
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting required
• CPA required
• Excellent understanding of US GAAP, SEC Reporting, SOX, etc.
• Strong communication skills and ability to present to leadership teams
• Detail oriented, organized, and able to prioritize multiple tasks
