Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct technical accounting research and provide authoritative guidance on complex issues.
- Develop and enforce accounting policies that align with US GAAP standards.
- Lead purchase accounting processes for acquisitions and divestitures.
- Drive the implementation of new accounting standards and participate in high-impact strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate with FP&A, legal, and other departments to ensure cohesive financial strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- CPA certification required.
- Extensive technical accounting expertise with a strong track record of drafting detailed memos/white papers.
- Experience with foreign currency translation, ASC 606, and purchase accounting.
- 8+ years in technical accounting, with Big 4 public accounting experience strongly preferred.
- Exceptional communication skills and a deep knowledge of US GAAP.
