Accounting Manager
Our client is an organization in the Fox Valley area looking for an Accounting Manager. Our client is looking for someone with 4+ years of accounting experience, leadership experience, and strong communication skills. The salary for this position is $60k-80k.
The Accounting Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee the general ledger in accordance with the organization’s finance and administration policy.
- Review and reconcile all balance sheets.
- Prepare journal entry of general ledger journal entries.
- Supervise the data entry of general ledger journal entries.
- Collaborate with VP of Finance to prepare worksheets and risk assessments annual for financial audit.
- Assis in preparing annual financial reports.
- Review and approve payroll and provide backup.
- Oversee year-end payroll processing.
- Recommend improvements to methods, performance, and service quality.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
The Accounting Manager will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or related field
- 4+ years of accounting experience.
- Formal supervisory experience preferred.
- CPA preferred.
- Strong organizational, prioritization and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
