Our client is an organization in the Waukesha County area that’s looking for a Tax Manager. Our client is looking for someone with 5+ years of experience, who is highly organized, and has excellent communication skills. This company offers flexibility, a collaborative culture, and competitive benefits. This position is hybrid.

 

The salary for this position is up to $120K – $130K.

 

The Tax Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns, ensuring timely and accurate filing of all tax obligations.
  • Maintain compliance with U.S. GAAP and ASC 740 for tax accounting and reporting.
  • Conduct tax research and provide recommendations to optimize tax positions.
  • Manage multi-state income and franchise tax filings.
  • Assist with tax audits and inquiries from external auditors and tax authorities.
  • Prepare documentation and analysis to support tax positions.
  • Work closely with Finance and Accounting teams to ensure accurate tax reporting.
  • Provide guidance on tax implications for transactions and projects.

 

The Tax Manager will possess the following:

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or MST preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in corporate tax.
  • Proficiency with tax research tools and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
