Our client is an organization in the greater Madison area looking for a Talent Acquisition Manager. This client is looking for someone with 5+ years of talent acquisition experience, strong leadership skills and is adaptable with the ability to pivot quickly.

 

The salary range for this position is $130k-150k.

 

The Talent Acquisition Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Leadership & Team Development

  • Guide, coach, and grow a team of recruiting professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Establish clear performance expectations and support individual development through ongoing feedback and career planning
  • Create a scalable structure that supports evolving hiring demands

Strategic Talent Planning

  • Design and implement a comprehensive recruiting strategy aligned with business goals and future workforce needs
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to anticipate hiring demands and translate business priorities into actionable recruiting plans
  • Act as a strategic partner, offering insights on talent availability, market trends, and hiring risks

Workforce & Pipeline Development

  • Partner cross-functionally with HR, Finance, and Operations to drive effective workforce planning
  • Build and maintain strong talent pipelines across a variety of roles, including professional, technical, and leadership positions
  • Develop and implement early career initiatives to strengthen long-term talent pipelines

Recruitment Operations & Excellence

  • Oversee end-to-end recruitment processes, ensuring efficiency, consistency, and a high-quality candidate experience
  • Define and standardize recruiting practices, service expectations, and performance metrics across the organization
  • Support and coach hiring managers to improve interview effectiveness and candidate engagement

Employer Brand & Candidate Experience

  • Shape and strengthen the organization’s employer brand in collaboration with internal stakeholders
  • Ensure a compelling and consistent candidate experience from initial engagement through offer and onboarding

Data, Technology & Optimization

  • Leverage recruiting data and analytics to inform decisions, improve outcomes, and drive continuous improvement
  • Regularly communicate hiring performance and insights to leadership
  • Oversee recruiting systems and tools, including applicant tracking systems and emerging sourcing technologies

Vendor & Budget Management

  • Manage the recruiting budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources
  • Evaluate and oversee external recruiting partners, agencies, and vendors to ensure alignment with organizational needs

 

The Talent Acquisition Manager will possess the following:

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or closely related field required.
  • 5+ years of talent acquisition experience.
  • Strong leadership experience with the ability to adapt and be flexible.
  • Manufacturing experience is strongly preferred.
  • Expertise in full-cycle recruitment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.

Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including, but not limited to skills, experience level, and overall qualifications. This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive program, subject to the rule governing the program.
