Senior Analyst

Our client is an organization in the Milwaukee area looking for a Senior Analyst. Our client is looking for someone who has 2+ years of related experience, strong communication skills and a high attention to detail.

The Senior Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate and support the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial consolidation process across multiple entities and business units.
• Prepare and record consolidation and elimination journal entries to ensure accurate company-wide financial reporting.
• Reconcile intercompany balances and investigate discrepancies between entities to ensure timely resolution.
• Review and analyze consolidation activity, account reconciliations, and general ledger balances for accuracy and completeness.
• Assist in the preparation of internal and external financial reporting packages, schedules, and supporting documentation.
• Partner with accounting teams to ensure consistent application of accounting policies and reporting procedures.
• Perform variance analysis and provide insights into financial results, trends, and key drivers.
• Support the month-end and year-end close processes, including adherence to reporting deadlines.
• Maintain and improve consolidation processes, reporting tools, and documentation to drive efficiency and accuracy.
• Assist with external audit requests and provide supporting schedules and reconciliations as needed.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Accounting, and operational teams to support strategic initiatives and reporting needs.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, corporate policies, and applicable accounting standards.

The Senior Analyst will possess the following:

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or closely related field.
• 2+ years of related experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective problem-solving skills.
• Strong analytical and customer service skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
