Our client is a wholesale organization in the Fox Valley area looking for a Senior Accountant. This company is looking for someone with 4+ years of accounting experience and who has a high attention to detail. This company offers a great team, growth opportunities and flexibility. This position is hybrid.

 

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare and review journal entries.
  • Reconcile, research, and resolve discrepancies of balance sheet accounts.
  • Perform monthly income statement and balance sheet analysis.
  • Reconcile quarterly and annual physical counts.
  • Monitor, analyze and record construction projects.
  • Analyzes financial data in order to prepare financial statements.
  • Prepares and reviews complex audit and/or tax work papers.

 

The Senior Accountant will possess the following:

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or closely related field
  • 4+ years of accounting experience.
  • High attention to details.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
