Payroll Manager
Our client is an organization in the Minneapolis area that is looking for a Payroll Manager. This client is looking for someone with 4+ years of experience, detail oriented, and highly organized. This company offers a close-knit team, continued growth & opportunity, and high visibility. This position is hybrid.
The salary for this position is $140k – $150k.
The Payroll Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Align Finance, HR, and Payroll priorities while ensuring cross-functional communication.
- Lead planning, testing, and implementation of Workday upgrades.
- Ensure payroll processes are accurately mapped and tested for efficiency.
- Collaborate with HR on system testing and implementation decisions.
- Develop SOPs and streamline payroll information management.
- Develop, mentor, and guide the team to achieve departmental goals.
- Continuously research and identify industry best practices.
- Other duties & tasks as needed.
The Payroll Manager will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Workday experience required.
- 4+ years of experience with 1+ years of supervisory or management experience.
- Proactive in identifying and mitigating payroll risks.
- CPP certification preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and high degree of accuracy.
