Our client is an organization in the Minneapolis area that is looking for a Payroll Manager. This client is looking for someone with 4+ years of experience, detail oriented, and highly organized. This company offers a close-knit team, continued growth & opportunity, and high visibility. This position is hybrid.

 

The salary for this position is $140k – $150k.

 

The Payroll Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Align Finance, HR, and Payroll priorities while ensuring cross-functional communication.
  • Lead planning, testing, and implementation of Workday upgrades.
  • Ensure payroll processes are accurately mapped and tested for efficiency.
  • Collaborate with HR on system testing and implementation decisions.
  • Develop SOPs and streamline payroll information management.
  • Develop, mentor, and guide the team to achieve departmental goals.
  • Continuously research and identify industry best practices.
  • Other duties & tasks as needed.

 

The Payroll Manager will possess the following:

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Workday experience required.
  • 4+ years of experience with 1+ years of supervisory or management experience.
  • Proactive in identifying and mitigating payroll risks.
  • CPP certification preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and high degree of accuracy.
