FP&A Manager – Supply Chain
Our client is an organization in the Madison area looking for an FP&A Manager. Our client is looking for someone with 5+ years of experience, strong interpersonal skills, and strong leadership skills.
The salary range for this position is $113k-145k +bonus.
The FP&A Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Planning & Forecasting
- Lead the annual budgeting process and ongoing forecasting activities across the organization.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic planning, operational initiatives, and investment decisions.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasts, including variance analysis and recommendations.
- Monitor financial performance and identify risks and opportunities impacting business results.
Financial Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze financial and operational results to provide actionable insights to leadership.
- Prepare and present monthly management reporting packages, KPIs, dashboards, and executive summaries.
- Conduct profitability, margin, cost, and trend analysis across departments, business units, or product lines.
- Support pricing analysis, labor planning, and cost optimization initiatives.
Business Partnership
- Partner with department leaders to develop budgets, evaluate performance, and support decision-making.
- Act as a trusted advisor to leadership by translating financial data into meaningful business recommendations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with accounting, operations, HR, sales, and executive teams.
Process Improvement & Strategy
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting accuracy, and forecasting efficiency.
- Assist in the development and implementation of financial systems, tools, and reporting automation.
- Support strategic initiatives including acquisitions, capital investments, and long-range planning.
- Help establish and maintain strong internal controls and financial governance practices.
The FP&A Manager will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or closely related field.
- 5+ years of related experience.
- Strong leadership experience.
- Strong attention to detail and highly organized.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
