Our client is an organization in the Green Bay area that’s looking for a Director of HR. Our client is looking for someone with 8+ years of experience, organized, and who has exceptional communication skills. This company offers a progressive team, an inclusive workplace culture, and flexibility. This position is onsite.

 

The salary for this position is $150K.

 

The Director of HR will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with executive and management teams to align HR strategies with business goals, growth plans, staffing needs, and organizational priorities.
  • Lead and develop the HR department while improving processes, team effectiveness, and overall department operations.
  • Ensure HR policies, programs, benefits, and employment practices comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
  • Oversee talent acquisition, onboarding, employee development, performance management, retention strategies, and succession planning.
  • Manage benefits, compensation, leave programs, Worker’s Compensation, wellness initiatives, and related vendor or carrier relationships.
  • Support leadership development, employee engagement, culture, and communication across a multi-site or distributed workforce.
  • Stay current on HR trends, employment laws, HR technology, and best practices while supporting acquisitions, integrations, and other company growth initiatives.

 

The Director of HR will possess the following:

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • 8+ years of progressive HR experience, including 3+ years in a management or supervisory role.
  • Solid knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, compliance, employee relations, benefits, and policy administration.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively with employees, leadership, vendors, and external partners.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to handle complex employee and business matters.
  • Experience in a growth-oriented, multi-site, or distributed organization preferred, with M&A or leadership development experience a plus.
