Director of Finance
Our client is an organization in the Waukesha County area that’s looking for a Director of Finance. Our client is looking for someone with 10+ years of experience, with excellent communication and leadership skills. This company offers a collaborative culture, competitive benefits, and flexibility. The Director of Finance will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as the finance business partner for operations leadership, providing strategic financial guidance to manufacturing, distribution, procurement, and operational functions.
- Lead operational planning, forecasting, budgeting, and scenario analysis to support business objectives, resource allocation, and long-term growth initiatives.
- Drive capital planning and investment analysis, evaluating capital projects, monitoring returns, and ensuring alignment with strategic priorities.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and execute cost reduction, productivity, and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and profitability.
- Develop and oversee costing, pricing, and margin management strategies, improving cost transparency and supporting profitable business decisions.
- Establish and monitor operational and financial performance metrics, delivering insights, dashboards, and reporting to support data-driven decision-making.
- Standardize financial processes, reporting, and best practices across business units, including supporting business integrations, operational transformations, and organizational growth initiatives.
The Director of Finance will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required), MBA and/or CPA/CMA strongly preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive finance experience, with significant leadership in manufacturing and/or distribution environments.
- Experience supporting multi-site or global operations required.
- Proven ability to influence leaders and drive alignment across functions without direct authority.
- Strong executive communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex financial concepts.
- Travel requirements: 20-25%.
