Corporate Controller
Our client is an organization in the Milwaukee area that’s looking for a Controller. This company is looking for someone with 8+ years of experience, who is collaborative, and who has excellent communication skills. The salary for this job is $160K – $190K.
The Controller will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the monthly financial close process, including financial reporting, account reconciliations, variance analysis, and related disclosures.
- Oversee daily cash management, including reporting cash position, preparing borrowing base certificates, and supporting cash flow planning.
- Lead external audit processes and coordinate with different departments to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Manage payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and related accounting operations.
- Lead the annual budgeting process and support forecasting, financial planning, and operational decision-making.
- Develop, implement, and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls in compliance with GAAP, federal and state regulations, and legal requirements.
- Drive process improvements and leverage automation to enhance department efficiency.
The Controller will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business management; CPA, MBA, CMA preferred
- 8+ years of experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Detail oriented and able to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
