Our client is an organization in the greater Milwaukee area looking for an Accounting & Shared Services Manager. This client is looking for someone with 5+ years of related experience, strong leadership and continuous improvement mindset.

 

The salary range for this position is $120k-150k

 

The Accounting & Shared Services Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

  • Lead the shared services teams supporting payroll, AP, cash applications, expense reporting, general accounting, reconciliations, accruals and month-end close activities.
  • Manage, coach and develop employees.
  • Partners with business leaders to support accurate and timely financial execution.
  • Ensure balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, journal entries, reporting support and close-related activities.
  • Drive continuous improvement, process standardization, automation and finance transformation initiatives.
  • Use data and other reporting tolls to provide accurate information, analysis and business support.
  • Other duties as assigned

 

The Accounting & Shared Services Manager will possess the following:

  • 5 + years of accounting leadership, accounting management or shared services management.
  • Experience leading employees, setting expectations and managing performance
  • CPA strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of shared services models
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive program, subject to the rule governing the program.
