Our client is an organization in the Greater Milwaukee area looking for a Financial Analyst. Our client is looking for someone with strong analytical skills, a solid foundation in financial analysis, and an interest in leveraging AI and technology to improve financial reporting and business insights. This individual will partner with finance and business leaders to deliver meaningful analysis that supports strategic decision-making.

 

The salary range for this position is $80k–95k + bonus.

 

The Financial Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare financial analyses, reports, and dashboards to support business planning and strategic decision-making.
  • Assist with the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
  • Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and explain budget-to-actual and forecast variances.
  • Develop financial models and ad hoc analyses to support operational and executive leadership.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate business performance and identify opportunities for growth and cost savings.
  • Prepare monthly management reporting packages and key performance indicator (KPI) analyses.
  • Maintain and improve financial reporting tools and reporting processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Support month-end close by assisting with financial reporting and variance analysis.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation to improve financial reporting, analysis, and business processes.
  • Participate in system enhancements, process improvement initiatives, and other finance-related projects.
  • Present financial findings and recommendations to management in a clear and concise manner.

 

The Financial Analyst will possess the following:

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required.
  • 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or a related finance role required.
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and variance analysis preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with ERP systems, financial reporting tools, or business intelligence platforms.
  • Exposure to or a strong interest in utilizing AI and emerging technologies to improve financial analysis, reporting, and operational efficiency.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate financial information to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated professional with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
