Tax Accountant

Our large professional services client is looking to add a Tax Analyst to their growing team! This is an exciting time at the company and offers a ton of opportunity for growth, a comprehensive benefits package and a hybrid work schedule! This opportunity will have the opportunity to work in their Downtown Chicago or the NW suburbs office.

The Tax Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Federal and state income tax compliance & provisions
• Assist with indirect tax work, including property tax returns, unclaimed property, and business tax licenses
• Utilize OneSource for provision and compliance
• Play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with tax regulations and optimizing tax strategies
• Collaborate with the finance team to analyze financial data, prepare tax returns, tax filings and supporting documentation, and provide valuable insights to support decision-making processes

The Tax Analyst will possess the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in Tax, Accounting, or Finance is required
• 0-2+ years of tax experience; federal experience is a plus
• Strong problem solving, time management, communication, and organization skills
• Driven, eager to learn & grow within the organization
