Senior Tax Analyst
Our client is an organization in the Waukesha County area looking for a Sr. Tax Analyst. Our client is looking for someone with 2+ years of experience, organized, and a team player. The salary for this position is $80k – $100k.
The Sr. Tax Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the annual income tax compliance process including preparation and review of federal proforma returns, state and local tax returns, and estimated tax payments.
- Prepare quarterly and annual tax provision in accordance with ASC 740 and support compliance with our internal accounting controls.
- Assist in the management of the tax technology tools.
- Assist with data gathering for sales and use tax returns, notices, and audits.
- Research tax issues for tax planning, tax accounting, tax compliance, and M&A.
- Assist in the various aspects of domestic audits.
The Sr. Tax Analyst will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Educational background with a focus on tax. CPA preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in public accounting, private industry, or any combination of experience, education, and training required.
- Project management, communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills are required.
- Experience with OneStream, Vertex, and OneSource Income Tax software preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and online tax research services such as CCH, BNA or RIA.
