Senior Tax Analyst
Our client is an organization in the Milwaukee area looking for a Senior Tax Analyst. Our client is looking for someone with 2+ years of accounting experience, federal and state tax experience, who wants to grow. The salary for this position is $80k-90k +bonus.
The Senior Tax Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Compile, track, analyze information to evaluate achievement of key operational and strategic objectives, as well as to monitor the overall financial and operating health/performance of the business.
- Develop, maintain, and distribute integrated revenue/expense analyses, projections, reports, and financial models to support business analysis and decision-making.
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis/special projects to assist management in understanding business performance and support strategic initiatives.
- Assist with the annual strategic planning and budgeting financial process. This includes collaborations with business leaders, data collection & consolidation process with FP&A resources and functional leadership and validating for completeness and accuracy.
- Develop new tools in order to drive scalable analysis and insight.
- Perform month-end closing duties as assigned.
- Compile sales bowlers for Commercial leadership and support countermeasures, as needed.
The Senior Tax Analyst will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or closely related field
- 2+ years of accounting/finance experience.
- Federal and state tax experience preferred.
- Excellent organizational, planning, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
