Senior Financial Analyst
Our client is an organization in the Waukesha County area that’s looking for a Senior Financial Analyst. Our client is looking for someone with 3+ years of experience, detail-oriented, and analytical. The salary for this position is $90k – $115k.
The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Take ownership of financial reporting systems and ensure accurate, consistent reporting in line with company policy.
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting analysis.
- Prepare monthly financial reporting packages, executive presentations, and reporting materials.
- Develop, manage, and analyze annual budgets and monthly forecasts
- Perform financial variance analysis with clear documentation, research, and communication of results and fluctuations.
- Calculate and manage commissions, sales bonuses, and related compensation accruals and payments.
- Drive accounting and reporting process improvements while maintaining tracking tools, checklists, and internal controls.
The Senior Financial Analyst will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3+ years of experience, preferably manufacturing experience
- Workday/Adaptive experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills for working with management & peers
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions using learned techniques and tools.
