Senior Accountant
Salary Range: $80,000-$95,000*Our client is a rapidly growing company that is currently looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for a variety of accounting functions. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Evaluate subsidiary journals for errors and omissions and enter corrected data into the general ledger.
- Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations.
- Prepare and enter monthly and one-off journal entries.
- Process month-end reports for management review.
- Track fixed asset additions, sales, disposals, and records necessary depreciation entries.
- Interact with financial and non-financial internal customers to promote adherence to internal controls.
- Analyze existing processes and propose/implement process improvements.
- Other duties and special projects as needed.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelors degree in Accounting.
- 1+ years general accounting experience. Strong experience with balance sheets preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office products and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
