Manufacturing Accountant
Our client is an organization in the Minneapolis area that’s looking for a Senior Accountant. Our client is looking for someone with 3+ years of experience, organized, and who has excellent interpersonal skills. The salary for this position is $110k.
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage cost accounting functions, including system optimization and maintenance of labor and overhead rates.
- Maintain fixed assets and ensure accurate tracking and depreciation.
- Support month-end close with journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support decision-making.
- Ensure accuracy of sales, cost, and backlog data through system reporting and analysis.
- Oversee inventory controls, including cycle counts and discrepancy resolution.
- Collaborate on process improvements, internal controls, cash forecasting, and annual audit support.
The Senior Accountant will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Highly detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Builds and maintains internal and external relationships that foster collaboration.
