Our client is an organization in the Milwaukee County area that’s looking for a Financial Analyst. Our client is looking for someone with 2+ years of experience, detail-oriented, and analytical. The salary for this position is $85k – $105k.

 

The Financial Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead monthly close activities, including journal entries, WIP and labor overhead accruals, and account reconciliations.
  • Develop and maintain standard costs for all inventory items, including material, labor, freight, and manufacturing routings.
  • Prepare and present financial reports and analyses, including project post-audits and cost evaluations.
  • Monitor actual production costs against budget and collaborate with Operations and Supply Chain to investigate and resolve variances.
  • Conduct cost studies and collect data on raw materials, labor, inventory, and manufacturing activities to support accurate product costing.
  • Identify and recommend process and cost-routing improvements to enhance operational efficiency and financial accuracy.
  • Provide broad financial support to the Finance team and perform additional duties as assigned.

 

The Financial Analyst will possess the following:

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting; CPA or candidate for CPA examination preferred
  • 2+ years of related manufacturing experience
  • Strong ERP system knowledge
  • Strong computer skills, particularly Excel
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Accurate and detail-oriented
