Director of Sales & Marketing
Our client is a privately held organization in the greater Minneapolis area that specializes in crane, on-road, and heavy construction specialty equipment. They are looking for a Director of Sales & Marketing.
This company maintains a close-knit, down-to-earth environment while providing world-class service. Our client is seeking someone with 10+ years of progressive sales experience, strong leadership skills, a proven track record of growing sales and teams, and comfortable in a hybrid work setting.
This position reports to the President.
The Director of Sales & Marketing will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES

Direct and coordinate all aspects of the company’s sales activities

Lead sales team towards securing active opportunities, achieving sales growth, and hitting overall sales targets.

Lead forecasting and projections for sales and rentals.
-
Design and implement an overall and individual sales planning process to ensure goal alignment.
-
Establish and manage the on-going target customer list.
-
Oversee essential sales relationships and workflows
-
Manage recruiting, goal setting, coaching and performance monitoring of team.
-
Identify areas for professional and leadership growth across the sales team, implement coaching and learning objectives.
-
Drive towards operational efficiency regarding sales processes and engagement with cross-functional teams.
-
Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being aware of new products.

Other duties and projects assigned.
The Director of Sales & Marketing will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
-
Bachelor’s degree in business or closely related field.

10+ years of progressive experience in sales.
-
3+ years of sales management experience.
-
An analytical mindset.
-
Excellent leadership and team management capabilities.
-
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
-
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
