Director of FP&A
Our client is an organization in the Madison area looking for a Director of FP&A. Our client is looking for someone with 10+ years of finance experience, manufacturing industry experience, and strong analytical and financial modeling skills. The salary for this position is $160-170k + bonus.
The Director of FP&A will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze and monitor market price risk, and help develop a high performing financial planning & analysis team.
- Lead efforts to validate and optimize by-product / ingredient costs and margins, support mass balance efforts to optimize supply.
- Develop internal financial expertise to lead decision support.
- Provide financial validation and oversight on risk management strategies, coverage levels and overall positions to balance risk and optimize financial impact.
- Collaborate with team to support and implement strategic decisions.
- Lead, coach, and develop finance talent across the organization.
- Develop proactive financial contingency plans.
- Ad hoc projects as needed.
The Director of FP&A will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
- 10+ years of job-related experience.
- Ability to present fact-based recommendations across various levels of management.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
- MBA or CPA preferred.
- Manufacturing industry experience preferred.
- Ability to travel occasionally.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
