Our client is an organization in the greater Milwaukee area looking for a Credit Manager. Our client is looking for someone with 5+ years of credit/collections experience, leadership experience, and who is highly organized and detail oriented.

 

The salary for this position is $100k-110k +bonus.

 

The Credit Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee customer credit issues, including account setup, credit reviews and collections.
  • Supervise and support credit analyst.
  • Manage uncollectible accounts, bankruptcy notifications and performance of external collection agencies.
  • Maintain customer files and reports.
  • Prepare reports and metrics for management as needed.
  • Act as a business partner on large contracts.
  • Ad hoc projects as needed.

 

The Credit Manager will possess the following:

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • 5–7 years of progressively responsible experience in credit/collections or a related financial role
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or related field
  • Prior supervisory experience (will manage a Credit Analyst)
  • Strong skills in credit analysis, collections, and policy enforcement
  • High level of analytical skills and detailed-oriented.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
