Our client is a small local CPA firm that is currently looking for a CPA to join their team. This position is currently available due to retirement and there is opportunity for growth to ownership of the firm. The company boasts a laid-back team-oriented culture, excellent work/life balance, and great benefits! This position will have the opportunity to work a hybrid schedule after in-office training is complete.
The CPA will assist with general accounting functions for clients including, but not limited to, preparing financial statement compilations on a monthly, quarterly, or annual basis; preparing monthly bank reconciliations; preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll tax and sales tax reports; preparing US and WI income tax returns for individuals, fiduciaries, and businesses; and assist tax return clients with year-round tax planning concerns. Other tasks as assigned.
The CPA will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- 4+ years’ public accounting related experience.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Solid computer skills including strong Excel skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- CPA required.
