Fund Controller
Our client is an organization in the Minneapolis area looking for a Fund Controller. This company is looking for someone with 5+ years of experience, organized, and driven. This company provides a collaborative team, flexibility, and competitive benefits. This position is hybrid.
The salary for this job is $150k – $200k.
The Fund Controller will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate cash management including bill payment, expense reimbursements, invoicing, account reconciliations and cash flow planning
- Prepare financial statements, partner allocations, and capital statements
- Liaise with fund administrator, auditors, and tax preparers
- Assist with investor-related affairs including record maintenance and ad hoc reporting
- Develop and maintain complex financial schedules such as loan amortization and fee calculation schedules
- Prepare internal financial analysis and audit deliverables
The Fund Controller will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- 5+ years of experience in public accounting, fund administration or with a private equity firm
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- Strong knowledge of internal, security and financials controls
- Excellent organization and communication skills, as well as attention to detail
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with QuickBooks
