Our client is an organization in the greater Minneapolis area looking for a Controller. This company is looking for someone with 5+ years of accounting experience, leadership experience and strong collaboration skills.
The Controller will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee all aspects of company’s financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.
- Manage cash flow and treasury functions.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and analyze results to provide insights
- Lead the annual budgeting processing, working with department leads.
- Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis.
- Prepare financial forecasts and update them regularly.
- Manage and mentor the accounting and finance team, providing guidance and support for professional development.
- Ad hoc projects as needed.
The Controller will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- 5+ years of experience.
- Leadership and manufacturing industry experience.
- CPA preferred.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
