Our client is a dynamic and rapidly growing company in the great South Bend area. that, with a strong foundation and the support of private equity backing, have doubled in size and revenue. As they expand their offerings and operations, they are looking for a strategic accounting leader to join their team and help navigate the next phase of growth. This role will have the ability to work with experienced leaders in an entrepreneurial environment, offers long term growth to the CFO position, and will be part of an exciting phase of growth as they expand their offerings into new markets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all financial operations, including accounting, financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
• Partner with the COO to drive business performance, making data-driven decisions to support strategic goals.
• Oversee the transition from Sage to NetSuite, integrating Salesforce with NetSuite for enhanced reporting and automation.
• Manage cost accounting and standard costing processes, with a focus on improving accuracy and efficiency.
• Support IT initiatives and leverage technology to streamline financial operations in the absence of an in-house IT department.
• Mentor and develop the accounting team, with a focus on scaling the department as the company grows.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• 8+ years in financial management, with a strong background in manufacturing and cost accounting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA or MBA preferred.
• Proficient in NetSuite and Excel; experience with Salesforce and IT-related projects is a plus.
• Comfortable rolling up your sleeves and handling both strategic and tactical tasks in a small, growing company.
• Ability to work closely with senior leadership, driving financial strategy and operations.
