Accountant

Our client is an organization in the greater Milwaukee area looking for an Accountant. This company is looking for someone with 1+ years of accounting experience, strong communication and multi-tasking skills. This company offers flexibility, growing dynamic place to work, and great leadership!

The salary range for this job is $65k-80k.

The Accountant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Ensure integrity and accuracy of financial data.
• Process invoices, expense reports, and payment transactions.
• Assist int the development of annual budget and financial forecasts.
• Analyze variances between actual and budgeted results.
• Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns.
• Assist in internal and external audits as necessary.
• Prepare reports on financial performance, trends and variances.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and corporate policies.
• Work closely with other departments to provide financial insights and support.
• Ad hoc projects as needed.

The Accountant will possess the following:

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• 1+ years of accounting experience.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
