Senior Accountant
Our client is an organization in the Milwaukee area that’s looking for a Senior Accountant. Our client is looking for someone with 3+ years of experience, organized, and analytical. The salary for this position is $75K – $100K.
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process payroll, deductions, garnishments, and maintain accurate records
- Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare general ledger journal entries
- Support month-end close, account reconciliations, and discrepancy resolution
- Assist with audits, tax filings, compliance reporting, and internal controls
- Manage cash reconciliations, forecasting, and financial statement preparation
- Improve accounting processes using Excel, automation, and AI tools
The Senior Accountant will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3+ years of relevant experience, manufacturing experience preferred
- Strong GAAP knowledge and attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and payroll/ERP systems
- Interest in AI and accounting automation
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
