Our client is an organization in the Green Bay area that’s looking for a Payroll Specialist. This client is looking for someone with 2+ years of experience, strong attention to detail, and has excellent organizational skills. The salary for this position is $60K – $70K.

 

The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Process payroll on a regular schedule, ensuring accurate and timely employee payments.
  • Review and verify timesheets, hours worked, overtime, deductions, and paid time off.
  • Maintain payroll records, employee payroll data, tax information, and direct deposit details.
  • Calculate wages, taxes, benefits, garnishments, and other payroll-related deductions.
  • Research and resolve payroll discrepancies, employee questions, and payment issues.
  • Support payroll reporting, audits, compliance requirements, and month-end or year-end payroll activities.

 

The Payroll Specialist will possess the following:

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • 2+ years of related Payroll experience.
  • Strong Excel skills, including agings, reconciliations, imports, exports, and reporting.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to prioritize deadlines, take initiative, and work professionally through change.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work with employees, managers, and HR/accounting teams.
