Senior Financial Analyst – Business Unit
Our client is an organization in the greater Milwaukee area looking for a Senior Financial Analyst. Our client is looking for someone with 3+ years of experience, strong analytical skills and high attention to details. The salary range for this role is $90k-110k.
The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform and lead month-end of varying complexities.
- Conduct in-depth assessments of financial data and business activity, delivering practical recommendations that influence policies, internal controls, and decision-making.
- Prepare account reconciliation on a monthly basis.
- Examine historical and current results to identify future financial trends. Recommend enhancements that strengthen profitability, operational efficiency, and financial health.
- Review complex budgets, profitability models, performance reports, financial statements, and operational records to validate accuracy and guide improvement opportunities.
- Guide the creation of analysis and reporting across budgeting, long-range planning, cash flow modeling, regulatory reporting, statistical tracking, and recurring forecasts.
- Develop and maintain key data repositories used for forecasting, scenario modeling, and long-term financial planning.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
The Senior Financial Analyst will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or closely related field.
- 3+ years of experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
