Tax Planning Advisor
Our client is an organization in the Waukesha County area that’s looking for a Tax Advisor. Our client is looking for someone with 3+ years of experience, organized, and motivated. The salary for this position is up to $165k.
The Tax Advisor will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work directly with client service teams to provide clients with integrated advisory experience.
- Plan efficient strategies for clients, serving as a primary resource in specialized areas.
- Perform research to solve issues and implement strategies in collaboration with internal teams.
- Prepare for and lead review meetings with current and prospective clients.
- Strategize and evaluate opportunities for planning and workflow efficiency.
- Analyze and prepare client deliverables, advising clients through related processes.
- Establish and maintain relationships with clients to enhance the overall client experience.
The Tax Advisor will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting; CPA designation required.
- 3+ years of relevant tax preparation experience is required; direct experience in the financial services industry a plus.
- Strategic self-starter who is solutions focused with strong analytical skills.
- Demonstrates a sense of urgency, multi-task priorities, and meets deadlines with a high degree of accuracy.
- Focus on being service driven, with excellent written and verbal communication skills, and comfortable working with clients and prospective clients regularly.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office; including Word, Excel and Outlook.
