Our client is an organization in the Milwaukee County area that’s looking for a Staff Accountant. Our client is looking for someone with 1+ years of experience, driven, and organized. This company offers internal growth opportunities, flexibility, and a collaborative team. This position is onsite.

 

The salary for this position is $65k – $75k.

 

The Staff Accountant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supports various tasks, including managing costs, tracking fixed asset additions, preparing month-end financial statements, and reconciling accounts.
  • Creates reports to summarize and predict business activities and financial status in terms of income, expenses, and earnings based on past, current, and expected operations.
  • Engages in audits as necessary.
  • Examines financial data detailing assets, liabilities, and capital, and compiles balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other reports.
  • Prepares and evaluates weekly proforma income statements.
  • Assists with cash flow forecasting.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

 

The Staff Accountant will possess the following:

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 1+ years of accounting and/or audit experience.
  • Working knowledge of spreadsheets and database software or accounting applications designed for general accounting.
  • Ability to research, compile, analyze, and interpret data.
  • Detail oriented with good organizational skills.
