Full Charge Bookkeeper
Our family-owned client in the Milwaukee area is looking for a Full Charge Bookkeeper to join their team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will possess 5+ years of bookkeeping experience, an Associate or Bachelor’s degree Accounting/Finance and strong Excel skills.

The salary range for this job is $65k-85k, depending on experience.
The Full Charge Bookkeeper will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare financial reports through the collection, analysis, and summarization of data.
- Assist in producing and submitting bids.
- Manage all aspects of logistics from order through delivery.
- Partner with other team members to provide seamless and exceptional service.
- Perform all activities related to accounts payable function, including reviewing, coding, and processing payments.
- Perform all activities related to account receivable function, including invoicing, deposits, collections, and revenue recognition.
- Support month-end and year-end close process.
Post transactions and categorize records in the general ledger (e.g., by assets, liabilities, and expenses) under the direction of the head of accounting. - Reconcile bank statements.
- Manage all administrative aspects of running an effective business office including data management.
The Full Charge Bookkeeper will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years of bookkeeping experience required
- Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, formulas)
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to switch gears quickly and wear multiple hats
