Accounting Manager
Our client is an organization in the Green Bay area looking for an Accounting Manager. Our client is looking for someone with 5+ years of experience, organized, and has excellent problem-solving skills. This company offers a close-knit team, growing organization, and collaborative culture. This position is onsite.
The salary for this position is $100k – $120k.
The Accounting Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Facilitate timely preparation and review of financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Prepare journal entries and monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Supervise, train, hire accounting staff to ensure work is completed accurately and timely.
- Managing internal control policies and procedures.
- Oversee financial accounts, budget, cash, and financial assets.
- Assist the external tax team in preparation of tax returns.
- Perform other accounting duties as required or assigned.
The Accounting Manager will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of accounting (GAAP), finance, and management principles.
- Strong knowledge of Excel and accounting software.
