Our client is an organization in the Milwaukee area that’s looking for a Vice President of Finance. Our client is looking for someone with 5+ years of experience, with strong collaboration and communication skills. This company offers a collaborative culture, strong leadership, and competitive benefits. This position is onsite.

 

The salary for this position is $100K – $110K.

 

The Vice President of Finance will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise and lead staff, including day-to-day workflow and priorities
  • Prepare and oversee annual financial statements
  • Serve as primary lead for audit coordination and related deliverables
  • Manage preparation and filing of required tax returns
  • Participate in daily accounting operations and provide hands-on support as needed
  • Prepare and review general ledger reconciliations
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Maintain integrity and accuracy of financial records and processes
  • Support overall financial operations and continuous improvement of accounting procedures

 

The Vice President of Finance will possess the following:

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field; CPA or advanced degree preferred
  • 5+ years of accounting experience, with supervisory or leadership experience preferred
  • Strong Excel and systems skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate concepts and strategies to all levels of the business
