Our client is an organization in the Dane County area looking for an Accountant. Our client is looking for someone with 1+ years of experience, organized, and adaptable. This company offers a hard-working team, collaborative culture, and room for professional growth & development. This position is hybrid.

 

The salary for this position is $80k – $90k.

 

The Accountant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare financial statements, footnotes, and related audit deliverables.
  • Assist in documenting and communicating audit findings, risks, and recommendations to supervisors.
  • Utilize firm resources to optimize engagement outcomes.
  • Perform audits, reviews, and compilations for clients in compliance with relevant accounting and auditing standards.
  • Participate in firm activities such as office operations, recruiting efforts, and professional development initiatives.
  • Assists with other duties and projects as assigned.

 

The Accountant will possess the following:

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, CPA preferred.
  • 1+ years of accounting experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Minimal travel required.
