Our client is an organization in the Milwaukee area looking for a SOX Analyst. Our client is looking for someone with 1+ years of experience, driven, and has excellent interpersonal skills. This company offers a dedicated team, room for professional growth & development, and flexibility. This position is hybrid.

 

The salary for this position is $75k – $110k.

 

The SOX Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct overall risk assessments, including financial statements, general ledger accounts, and financial reporting.
  • Document key financial processes and identify related risks, updating process narratives and flowcharts.
  • Create and improve processes that enhance internal controls and positively impact the business.
  • Maintain report matrices and test systematic reports.
  • Develop and maintain risk and control matrices, and coordinate with Internal Audit on testing requirements.
  • Coordinate SOX testing between Finance, Internal Audit, and external auditors, providing necessary documentation and support.

 

The SOX Analyst will possess the following:

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting.
  • 1+ years of relevant experience.
  • Analytical with strong problem solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
