Our client is an organization in the Milwaukee area looking for a Senior Property Accountant. Our client is looking for someone with 2+ years of experience, a self-starter, and motivated. This company provides a supportive team, a fun work environment, and competitive benefits. This position is onsite.

 

The salary for this position is $75k – $95k.

 

The Senior Property Accountant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management processes, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness
  • Conduct bank reconciliations and analyze monthly financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
  • Assist the operations team with the annual budget process
  • Ensure timely and accurate month-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations
  • Assist with annual audits and tax preparation, collaborating effectively with external auditors
  • Work closely with property management teams to ensure accurate reporting of property performance

 

The Senior Property Accountant will possess the following:

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in property accounting or real estate finance
  • Bachelors degree in accounting preferred. CPA preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skills
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to shifting priorities
  • Experience with ResMan or another property accounting system is preferred
